This October 11th was the final tournament for the CNY division and a good one. The morning brought high winds and sunny skies. This detered most teams from the lake and they fled to the river. At 4 O'clock, the teams returned for weigh-ins. In third place with 11.10 lbs was the team of Mike Griesmyer and Dave Evans. Our first and second place teams had a shoot out. The team of Mike Donahue and Gene Cochran weighed a MONSTER bag weighing 17.89 lbs including the days lunker of 4.93 lbs. This wouldn't be enough to hold of the "Machines" of the CNY trail. Jamie Hartman and Dereck Bigford sacked em' with a very impressive 17.93 lbs to take the win!!!! Today's tournament was a testament that Onondaga Lake still has it, but even more impressive was the performance that Jamie Hartman and Dereck Bigford put on this year. Great job guys and congratulations on defending your Angler of the Year title for CNY trail. The true challenge remains...can you repeat the T.O.C????? Good luck to all the qualifiying teams next week!!!
