U.S. Angler's Choice Tournament Trails, Inc., under the new
leadership and direction of Mark Mendez, Alton Forthe, Tom
Shockley, and Long Nguyen, is on a quest to build the largest
and most prestigious team and couples bass tournament organization
in America. Our strength relies on integrating personal tournament
experience (over 55 years of combined tournament fishing experience
from club level to professional angler) with practical business
backgrounds in business management, marketing, sales, mass
communications, and Internet Technologies. U.S. Angler's Choice
Tournament Trails, Inc. is headquartered in Brentwood, California
on the famed California Delta. The combination of our work
and fishing experiences has taught us well when it comes to
knowing how to provide value for anglers. We know information
and communication are the key elements to success. Our mission
statement sums it up rather well.
"To become the clear leader in team and
mixed couples tournaments in the Nation by providing exceptional
value to anglers through well organized tournaments, specialty
events, superior membership benefits, multiple high-quality
publications, premium up-to-date websites, Regional and National
Championships."
U.S. Angler's Choice, under new ownership,
is launching a new corporate image beginning with this web
site. Along with weekly tournament results, you can access
up-to-date information and point standings for the Regional
Championships, and at the same time read up on the latest
U.S. Angler's Choice news. At the end of the tournament season
the top finishers in each division will qualify to fish at
their Regional Championship, where they will have the opportunity
to win fully rigged Bass Cat Boats, powered by Mercury Outboards,
Motorguide trolling motors, Lowrance Electronics, and Hamby's
Beaching Bumpers. Furthermore. This event will crown the National
Team Champions and their success will be highlighted in several
publications.
Being a member of U.S. Angler's Choice has many
benefits. As a member you are entitled to special benefits
such as instant rebates when purchasing at the AC Pro Shop
(one rebate alone can save you more than the cost of your
membership!). Plus, the opportunity to win thousands of dollars
in cash and merchandise while fishing in any of the approximately
400-team and mixed couples tournaments held in 34 states.
Members also receive the new U.S. Angler's Choice magazine
filled with results, schedules, techniques, and tournament
tips from tournament champions. You will also receive a high
quality membership card that entitles you to additional special
benefits.
Beginning in August 2002, along with our regular
qualifying events, U.S. Angler's Choice will introduce a series
of "specialty events," across the nation. These
events will challenge your fishing skills, promote fun and
competition, and providing excellent paybacks. The first of
these specialty events will occur on the California Delta
featuring Snag Proof Tournament Frogs as the only lure that
can be used in the tournament.
The management and staff of U.S. Angler's Choice Tournament Trails Inc. are optimistic about the future
of U.S. Angler's Choice Tournament Trails. The restructuring process
of U.S. Angler's Choice is time consuming, but our progress to
date is very measurable. For example, we have re-launched
U.S. Angler's Choice magazine, introduced the new web site,
acquired nine new directors, launched the AC Pro Shop, and
have signed sponsorship contracts with 13 separate companies
where none existed at the beginning of 2002.
Our members deserve the best, and we are committed
to bringing it to you. Your continued support, as well as
support from new members, is appreciated and critical to our
growth. We are working for you.
See you at the weigh-in.
