Johnson And Cites Win Bass Cat Quest Money

The second tournament for the Arkansas Angler's Choice region found 64 teams with a cloudy skies and water temps in the mid to high 50's and Lake Dardanelle high and muddy. A cold front had slowed the bite some. There were 147 fish caught weighing 407.24lbs with only 8/5 fish limits caught.

First went to Grant Johnson and Joe Crites they had a 5 fish limit weighing 16.53 lbs this won them a total of $2000. They reported catching them on jigs and spinner baits in shallow water. Joe Crites who's 2002 Bass Cat they fished in: also qualified for a $500 bonus from Bass Cat through the new Quest program.

Second were Quincy Houchin and Todd Christen who used jigs and War Eagle Spinner baits to catch their 5 weighing 15.86 lbs worth $1000.

Third were Bill McCaghren and Brent Stallings who had only 3 bass one of which caught on a fire tiger Rogue weighed 7.75lbs and won lunker honors
Their total 15.86 lbs earned them winnings that totaled $1160.
