ANGLER'S CHOICE OF ARKANSAS

The fourth tournament for the Arkansas Angler's Choice
region found 50 teams with the foulest of conditions
rain on practice day and a blue northern on tournament
day with winds 15 to 25 and temps in high 40's and the
river high and muddy. There were 109 fish caught weighing
266.55lbs with 6/5 fish limits caught.
First went to Terry Hopson and Teddy Bogard who got
a late start but had a 5 fish limit weighing 17.33 lbs
this won them a of $1900. They reported catching them
on green jigs in a back water hole of the river.
Second were Marty Stauber
and Mike Harris who War Eagle Spinner baits to capture
their 5 which weighed 15.15 lbs and won them $900.
Third were Kevin Short
and Steve Howard who used War Eagle buzz baits for their
limit of 5, which weighed 14.50lbs this earned him $685.
Lunker was a 6.78lb large
mouth worth $470 caught by Steve and Jeremy Blaylock.
They used a Rankin Buzz bait, which Steve had purchased
at Fish'N Stuff.
