The Lord gave the best
fishermen in the southeast another great day to fish
on beautiful Cherokee lake in Morristown, Tennessee.
Morristown is just a beautiful place to spend the day
even if you are not fishing. With the Dogwoods and Red
Bud trees in full bloom anyone could tell it was spring.
And the old timers in these rustic hills of East Tennessee
will tell that when the Dogwoods and Red Bud trees are
in bloom the fish are biting. And biting they were because
it took over seventeen pound to get a check!
After fishing on beautiful
Cherokee Lake for a day William Cordwell and James Collins
came to the scales with a huge bag of fish that weighed
19.00 pounds. Their biggest fish was a beautiful 4.60
pounder. This team reported using a crank-bait and a
spinner-bait on main lake points to take home the 1st
place prize of $2000.00. Great job!
The team of Shannon Leamon
and Larry Neal came up just a little short of a $2000.00
first place prize. This team came to the scales with
17.84 pounds of fish. This team reported running their
Bubble Bee Bass Boat around the mid section of scenic
Cherokee Lake to catching their fish on crank-baits
and spinner-baits.
The lunker of the tournament
went to the team of Larry Johnson and Willie Collins
who had a 5.40 lbs. largemouth. Larry reported catching
this fish on a Carolina Rig.
In closing Angler's Choice staff would like to thank
