Lee And Orr Win Angler's Choice Season Opener

Jeff and Scott

Jeff Lee and Scott Orr of Maryville, Tennessee got the year off to a great start by winning the first Fall Tournament of the new season. This newly formed team proved they could catch fish under tough conditions by bringing the only limit of the tournament to the scales. Their five fish limit hit the scales at 10.64 lbs. Jeff and Scott ran to the mid-section of Fort Loudon to catch their winning bag. Jeff reported that a new crankbait that is made by Clint Boling of Walland, Tennessee made the difference in their day. Jeff and Scott finished out their limit with Angler's Choice Staff watching. Great job guys.

Second Place went to the father and son team of Roger and Gregg Newman of Maryville Tennessee. This talented team ran their Triton Boat up both Tellico and Fort Loudon Lake to catch 9.51 lbs. of bass. Gregg reported, catching their fish from the pocket off the main lake using a crankbait. When Gregg and Roger are not out catching bass and winning money they are running Roger L. Newman Heating and Air.

Third place went to Robert Reed of Grandview Tennessee who had to fish this one alone. Robert reported catching his four keepers on a crankbait in shallow water on the lower end of Fort Loudon. Robert would like to thank his sponsor Tennessee Natural Stone.

Fourth place and lunker of the tournament went to the team of Terry Lynn Tenpenny and Johnny Morgan. This team reported catching their two fish in the first ten minutes of the tournament. They weighed in two fish that hit the scales at 7.04 lbs. which was anchored by a beautiful 4.44 lbs. Smallmouth bass that was the lunker of the tournament. Lynn reported that they caught their fish on a crankbait on the Tellico main lake points.
