Lee And Orr Win Again

It was a beautiful morning as the best fishermen in East Tennessee made their way to the bank of beautiful Tellico. The Lord had blessed us with another beautiful day to fish and just be alive.

Jeff Lee and Scott Orr won the Anglers of the Year race with a 1st place finish. This talented team came to the scales with a 5 fish limit that weighed 14.53 lbs. Which included the lunker of the day a 4.28 smallmouth. They reported catching their fish on Big Sow Baits which are soft plastic baits made by Blu Cooper of East Tennessee.

Second place went to the team George Bull and Tom Moton. This talented team ran their Mercury powered boat all the way up the Tennessee River to bring back a 5 fish limit that weighed in at 10.75 lbs. George reported catching their fish shallow.

Third place went to Todd Drew and David Shreve who came to the scales with four fish that weighed 6.73. This team reported catching their fish on Fort Loudon but they just could not get the big bite.

In closing Angler's Choice staff would like to thank all the fishermen that came and battled the jet skis to fish. Please remember that we will be starting the new year in September with our first tournament on Fort Loudon and Tellico Lake
