KAZEE AND SHELTON WIN JUNE ANGLER'S CHOICE

The Lord gave the best fishermen in the southeast another great day to fish on beautiful Fort Loudoun and Tellico Lakes. After a week of very heavy rain, at times record setting, ran temperatures in the seventies and overcast skies were a welcome change to those who fished the Angler's Choice Tournament.

Daryl Kazee and Charles Shelton came away with the win on Saturday with a nice bag of fish that hit the scales at 12.75 pounds. This seasoned team has come close to winning but fell short in the past. But this was their day to win beating the second place team by over 2 pounds. Daryl reported running his Yamaha powered Blazer boat to the lower end of Fort Loudoun to catch their winning bag of fish. This team reported catching their fish out of deep water on a variety of lures.

Second place went to the 2004 Anglers of the Year Scott Orr and Jeff Lee. This is the second year in a row this skillful team has won the points championship! Jeff and Scott came to the scales with 5 fish weighing in at 10.10 pounds. Great job guy!

The lunker of the tournament went to the team of Dan Zerrick and Cliff Rowland. Cliff caught their prize - winning big fish a beautiful 5.10 pound Smallmouth Bass on a jig in less than 5 feet of water. You know that had to be fun fight!
