First off.. I would like to thank the Castaic Bass Club and Michael Stern for sharing the lake with us. It seemed to go off without a hitch. Imagine that, 2 tournaments 1 body of water and it all went well! Thanks Castaic Bass Club, I look forward to joining you club at your next meeting!

As for the Angler's Choice tournament, Arujo and Fruge won for the 2nd time in 4 events and took home over $1400. Their 4 fish bag weighed 15.83 lbs and make it a virtual dead heat for the Angler of the Year award.

In second place was the team of Steve Wilson and Roger Beimer. They also had the big fish of 5.88 lbs and a total weight of 14.45 lbs.

I'd also like to welcome back the defending trail champions of Steve Hall and Richard Atanay! They have taken the first half of the year off with Richard's quadruple by-pass surgery. Great to see him out on the water only 3 months after the surgery! Doctor's are amazing aren't they? Welcome back guys... hope your recovery continues its great progress Richard.
