Jordan and Wilson win Anglers Choice Bass Tournament

High winds and heavy pressure during the week made for some tough fishing Sunday, but the team of Mark Jordan of Kevil and Lynn Wilson of Paducah took top honors at the US Anglers Choice Team Bass tournament held on Lake Barkley. They brought in 4 bass weighing 10.32 pounds to win the $1,000 first place prize. Mark also caught the second biggest bass which was worth an additional $55.00. Lynn said they caught most of their fish with a texas rigged worm. Second place went to the team of Daryl Kazee of Wurtland Ky and Charlie Shelton of Ashland KY with the days only 5 bass limit weighing 10.25 pounds. They caught their fish on a carolina rig on lake Barkley. Big bass of the event went to Chuck Rounds with a largemouth weighing 4.32 pounds.

This was the seventh and final event on Kentucky/Barkley for 2004. Ten teams qualified for the no-entry fee classic to be held on Dale Hollow on November 4-6. 2004. The qualifying teams are:
