Prvonozac & Hladio Dominate at Milton

The sixth tournament of the Northeastern Ohio division of Anglers Choice at Lake Milton was welcomed with questionable weather, but that quickly changed into what turned out to be wonderful weather with water temps in the 70’s. With hopes of solidifying a qualifying spot to compete at the Regional Championship on Dale Hollow, TN, the team of Nick Prvonozac and Rob Hladio sent a strong message that they would be headed south in November by bagging an impressive limit of smallmouth weighing in at 17.04 pounds. By doing so, Nick and Rob walked away with their second NE Ohio tournament win of the year and $1,060 for their efforts.

Joe Dicerni and son Joe Jr. laid claim to second place for the second straight tournament with a nice catch of 10.90 pounds and also ensured themselves of a trip to Dale Hollow and a payday of $380. The team of Matt Johnson and Paul Molan claimed third place with a bag of only three fish weighing in at eight pounds even but with a nice 4.22 pounder to also claim big bass honors.

The AOY race is almost but locked up by the team of Jamie Fabian and Cecil Vandyne who have shown consistency pays off. The NE Ohio Trail will qualify eight teams for the Regional Championship along with two wild card teams to be determined at the last tournament of the year, which is at the Captina Creek Ramp in Pawhatan on the Ohio River the 29th of this month.
