The team of Jordan and Carver showed
us what they are made of at the sixth event held July
26 on McPhee Lake. At the last event held on McPhee,
Jordan and Carver blanked on their home lake. This
was not to be repeated as the five fish weighing 12.87lbs
confirmed. According to all witnesses, they sat on
one point all day finessing enough bites to secure
their third win of the year. The team of Rizuto and
Ragsdale were second with 5 fish for 12.71lbs. Third
went to the team of Aldrich and Salisbury with 5 fish
for 12.05lbs after the penalty for two dead fish was
deducted. Team Perry and Skelton came in forth with
5 fish at 10.95lbs, which keeps them in the race for
AOY team. Rizuto and Ragsdale are currently leading
all teams in the race for AOY with one event left.
The morning started out with lightning
and storm clouds. It cleared later but by weigh-in,
it looked like how the day started. Thirteen teams
came to McPhee to catch big smallmouth but Big Bass
was a largemouth at 3.79lbs caught by team Aldrich
and Salisbury. Most of the bags had a mix of both
family members with 5 teams weighing a limit. This
lake just gets better each year. We had a visiting
team from Arizona, brothers Tim and Rusty Rath. They
drove all night to get here. It was great to have
them participate. Maybe they might consider this circuit
next year.
Our last event at Navajo, August 16,
is two tournaments in one. First, the point's qualifiers
will be determined and then best finishes in this
event will decide the two Wild Card teams. It is a
shoot out format with any team with 6 or more tournaments
eligible. It would be great to have a large turnout
for the last event. If you know someone who might
be interested, have him or her call me. Their membership
is good for 12 months so it would not be wasted money.
The meeting will be held at K B Dillon's from 5pm
until 7pm on August 15. See you there.
I would like to thank our sponsors

are held. With their support, our meetings are comfortable
and delicious. They are the premier eatery in our
area. Please support all of our sponsors when making
your next purchase. Without them, we would be just
another team circuit.
