Number 6 of 7 has come and gone, partly cloudy skies and hot, hot, hot. As the season draws to a close positioning for championship seeds gets tighter and tighter.

1st place went to Robert Nunley and David Bozarth with a 21.67 lb sack. Robert and David fished deep cranks and Carolina rigs from the deck of their Champion Boat. They reported getting their big bite at 7:50 a.m. Their total winnings for 1st place was $2295 (included is their Bass Cat Bonus Bucks).

Coming in 2nd place was King Tieken and Shannon McCaleb with 20.77 lbs. Anchoring their sack was an 8.72 lb kicker. King and Shannon fished spoon and Carolina rigs with Castaway rods in 20+ feet of water. They had their limit caught by 11:00 am. King and Shannon would like to thank Castaway rods and Randy Fite with custom Hunting Rifles for their support.

Rounding out the top three was Russell Cecil and David Curtis with a 5 fish limit that weighed 18.80 lbs. Russell and Cecil fished DT16 Rappallas and DD22's with Castaway and Falcon graphite rods. They reported getting their big bite around 11:00 am and culled 4 fish.

Big Bass of the tournament was an 8.83 lb. fish caught by the team of Jack Fitzgerald and Kip Snell. They caught the fish about 8:30 am. Jack and Kip would like to recognize Castaway rods and Kick-N-Bass products for their assistance in landing the Bib Bass of the tournament.

Our last event will be on Lake Livingston out of Waterwood Marina. If you have not already make reservations do so quickly. Hope to see all of you there!
