The Southeast Texas tournament trail ventured into central Texas for the 4th event of the season at Richland Chambers. The anglers busted out of Fisherman's Point Marina and enjoyed a beautiful day on the water as the Texas sun shined all day long.

The team of Kerry Slaughter and Lee Yowell went after the bed fish… And found them ! Kerry and Lee brought in a limit of fish by pitching tubes along the grass edges. Their total weight of 18.45 lbs. earned them a first place finish and $1,265.00.

2nd place went to the team of Nick Albus and Edwin Loitz. Nick and Edwin also brought in a 5 fish limit with a weight of 15.20 lbs., earning them $645.00 for their efforts.

3rd place finish went to the team of Andrew Faterkowski and Scott McNellie. Andrew and Scott tipped the scales at 13.75 lbs. with their sack of 5 fish, which earned them $450.00 for the day.

The Big Bass of the day was caught by Randy Gunter, of Cypress, TX. Randy used a dark colored tube to bring in the 6.00 lb. fish, which earned him $240.00.

Congratulations to all the winners and we appreciate our anglers following the Southeast Texas tournament trail !

We will be returning to Waterwood Marina on Lake Livingston for our next event on May 9th. Registration will be on Saturday, May 8th between 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. We look forward to seeing everyone there !
