Chumley And Winders Win Livingston
The Southeast Texas tournament
trail traveled back to Lake Livingston for the 5th event
of the season. Twenty-eight teams launched from Waterwood
marina at day break to enjoy a pleasant day of fishing.
The team of Ronnie Chumley and Jeff Winders led the
pack of anglers with a five fish limit weighing in at
15.25 lbs. to take home the first place honors. Ronnie
and Jeff's first place finish netted them a $1,265.00
payday !
2nd place went to the team of Todd Castledine and Eddie
Ellison. Todd and Eddie were the last boat out, but
they had plenty of time to catch their limit as well.
Todd and Eddie brought in a close 14.18 lbs., earning
them $645.00 for their efforts.
3rd place finish went to the duo of Danny Bourgeois
and Alan Grissom. The team from Houston brought in five
fish tipping the scales at 13.84 lbs. which earned them
$450.00 for the day.
The Big Bass of the day was brought in by the father
and son team of Terry and Brandon Reich. It was Terry
that managed to hook the 5.31 lb. bass which earned
him $280.00 ! Terry and Brandon also brought in a limit
of fish, which helped boost them into 3rd place in the
overall points standings.
Congratulations to all the winners and we appreciate
our anglers following the Southeast Texas tournament
trail !
We will be returning to April Plaza Marina on Lake Conroe
for our next event on June 6th. Registration will be
