Weather started out good
and then it got windy and cold. Had 21 boat's go out,
and as they arrived back at the scale's with there day's
catch.
1st Place. went to John Turner/ Jim Waits, they had
5 fish for 17.47 lbs, they had a fun day that started
up river in the current, with a spinner bait.Caught
a big fish for 4.62 lbs right a way, also was cranking
in back water's, and went to the dam and flipped some
more. Netted them a total of $ 1395.00.
2nd Place. Went to Husband & Wife team Mark / Jennifer
Wilkinson. They had 5 fish for 14.17 lbs. They through
crankbait's all day long, and kept getting nicer fish
as they went. They had a big fish of 4.46 lbs. They
ended up with $ 680.00 in there pocket, for there day's
work. Nice Job!
3rd place. Went to father & Son team Jacob &
Brenton Lute. They had a 11.67 lbs, for there 5 fish.
There big fish was 3.13 lbs. They went up river using
crankbait's, caught there limit real fast, and did some
flipping and caught bigger fish. There day ended up
netting them $375.00. Not Bad!!!
4th Place. Was taken by Keith Lute / Ricky Stewart.
They had 5 fish for 10.79 lbs. They also ended up with
the 2nd big fish of the tournament, which was 5.44 lbs.
They caught some of there fish in fisher's cranking
and moved to Ferguson, and some more, and fished on
some of the main lake point's.With there 2nd big fish
of the tournament and the rest of there limit they walked
away with $ 595.00. Good day's work.!!!
Big fish of the tournament. Was hooked by Curt Cernik,
with his partner Craig Johnson. They flipped in the
back waters all day. Big fish came about 11:30 .am.
that netted them $ 425.00 , Befor lunch. Great Job!!!
We would like to thank the bass club's down at martinez
for thr use of there weigh station, it's really neat.
And special thank's to the other place for opening early
and feeding the fisherman, and the use of there facility's
for the award's. And thank's again for sponsoring the
plaque's for this last tournament.
